Stock you can trust, at every location
Inventory management software for Indian MSMEs: live stock by warehouse or store, batch and serial number tracking, transfers and a full history for every item.
What goes wrong today
- A different stock number in every warehouse and store with no single view of what is where
- Stock that runs out before anyone notices so an order can't be fulfilled
- Corrections made with no reason on record so nobody can explain where stock went
- No way to trace a batch or serial number when a customer comes back with a problem
- Opening an item to see its code, unit, category, how it is tracked and its stock level right now
- Stock History: every receipt, sale, production use and job work issue, with its document number
- Movement History: when each movement happened and where the stock moved from and to
- Why free stock is lower than what is on the shelf, with reserved and available tracked separately
How stock moves in Centrik
- 1
Set up your catalogue
Add products under HSN/SAC-linked categories so the GST rate comes along, and choose how each one is tracked: by quantity, serial number or batch, with expiry dates for perishables.
- 2
Receive stock in
A goods receipt in Procurement adds stock to the right location. Stock that arrives without a purchase order can be added directly, with its vendor and cost.
- 3
Move it between locations
Transfer stock from a warehouse to a store in one step, or dispatch and receive it separately if you want a check in between. Every location keeps its own count.
- 4
Sell, make and trace
Sales orders reserve and deduct stock, and manufacturing uses raw material and puts finished goods back. Open any item to see every movement it has made.
